AXIAL FAN - ADJUSTABLE
The axial fans as detailed in this brochure provide a comprehensive range
for duty point selection with sizes from 300 up to 2100 mm diameter and
air flows from 0.2 cum/sec to 100 cum/sec. Individual fan curves for each
respective selection can be supplied upon request.
CONSTRUCTION
Cases are manufactured from mild steel , suitably stiffened and braced to
secure the motor and impeller assembly in a rigid position ensuring a free
running operational impeller with a consistent tip clearance.
ELECTRIC MOTORS
Motors are typically three phase 415 Volt 50 Hz induction type electric
motors.
TEFC and Class F windings as standard. Motor enclosure as standard is IP54
rating fitted with suitable
bearings , greased and sealed for life. Options including motor winding
class , enclosure protection and grease relief are available for most models
and depending upon customer specific requirements.
ANCILLARIES
Fan selection can include for mounting feet, matching flanges, wire guards,
attenuators and vibration isolators
spring mounts or rubber in sheer isolators. Spring mounts or rubber in
shear isolators are individually selected to meet project requirements.
Flanges of the TAT fans are pre-drilled to facilitate matching flanges
and ancillary equipment
connections. Casing finish as standard is hot dip galvanised with alternative
epoxy paint or powder coat finish options available for customer specification.
IMPELLERS
Sigrist fans offer smooth aerofoil shaped variable pitch impellers of
the highest quality ,which range in diameter from 300 to 2100 mm with
combinations of 2,6,8 and 12 blades in all sizes.
They are manufactured from high grade aluminium alloy or glass reinforced
polyproplene.
The blade section provides a high efficiency operation with non overloading
characteristics.
All axial fans are available with various pitch settings to accurately
meet set duty points.
The hub is manufactured from aluminium with "sure lock" taperlock
bushing for easy removal and are available with bore sizes ranging from
12 mm to 55 mm.
