Design range of roof units offer a means of exhausting air where a roof
mounted fan is required.
There are seven fan sizes available ranging from 200 mm to 500 mm. We
have developed our units with the cowl and base manufactured from high
strength fiberglass gel coated for durability. The cowls are light in
weight, corrosion proof and highly resistant to damage.
PERFORMANCES
Tests have been carried out by our impeller /motor suppliers in accordance
to BS-848 Part 1 testing standards.
The curves show the static pressure given by the fan at different airflow
points.
NOISE LEVELS
The noise level figures have been obtained according to BS-848 Part
2 .The figures given correspond to Sound Power Levels in dB(A) and are
measured at 3 meters.
IMPELLERS
The exclusive design of the impellers allows the maximum aerodynamic
characteristics combined with a low noise level.
They are manufactured in steel, riveted to the rotor and dynamically
balanced. The finish is black polyester
powdercoat.
ELECTRIC MOTORS
The motors are of induction, asynchronous type ,with diecast in Aluminium
external rotor . The fans can be supplied with motors of 2 or 4 poles
depending on the model. The ball bearings are totally enclosed and greased
for life ,thus enabling a very low noise level and continuous operation.
The insulation is Class "B". The Degree of protection is IP44.
The working temperature range is from -40 deg.C up to 60 deg. C.
Thermal protection
All the single phase motors are fitted with a thermal protection device
of the self-resetting type ,to protect the motor from dangerous overheating.
All motors incorporate sealed for live ball bearings and are suitable
for 240 volt single phase supply.
MOUNTING
Units are designed for roof mounting configuration and are weatherproof.
